30 Second technique to boost your immune system

Hi I want to share with you a quick exercise that i do to to help stimulate the Thymus Gland. Basically it is responsible for helping with the immune system.

How does it help? It is responsible for maturing infection-fighting white blood cells (T cells) made in our bone marrow.

This gland is affected by stress. The harder it works the more energy it uses. Also as our energy levels become depleted it becomes less able to do what it needs to do.

So sometimes it needs a recharge.
How do we know when we need to do this? Well it is about listening to your body and that is not that hard we all know the times we are becoming depleted or energy levels are falling.

To give you an example I find about 4pm I start to notice a bit of a slump. Now this is where we have some choices to recharge our energy level. Some people choose a sugar rush and go for quick energy charges from things like coffee, soft drink, chocolate etc. (Hey I have been guilty of this. It is so easy to do!) Some people choose healthier options like a piece of fruit or a healthier option for our body.

So here is something else you can do. It will help with recharging you energy.

Here’s what to do.

Take a few deep, relaxing breaths.

Locate the area where your Thymus gland is in your chest and with 2 fingers tap as hard as you feel you need to.

Tap away here about 20-30 times or as long as feel it is necessary. Please be careful not to injure yourself.

Continue to take breathe slowly whilst tapping.

If you are not able to tap the area with your fingers, don’t worry, put your hand there and gently rub or visualise your hand there rubbing and stimulating the thymus gland. This is also a good way to do it if you are at work or in public and other people are around.

This only takes a minute or so.
